Often these maps are locked for IP protection, but can also mean that a tuner can no longer read\/write to the ECU in the normal way preventing it from being re-mapped.<\/p>\n<p>Cloning is also possible \u2013 we\u2019ll need your original ECU to be cloned and a working replacement ECU from the same model of car.<\/p>\n<p>By ordering this item and posting only one ECU to us we will unlock the ECU, inspect the software, restore it to factory if necessary and return it to you typically within two working days of receiving it.<\/p>\n<p><b>To do this via post:<\/b><br \/>\nPlease send your ECU with a covering note which includes your name and return address to:<br \/>\nMr C.
